AEA has three levels of basic services, but often customizes a package based on each client's needs:

Level 1 - The AEA In-Home Energy Analysis

• Basic Blower Door Testing and personal energy consulting.
• Your AEA HERS® certified rater will depressurize your house and check for air leaks.
• Your professional will show you the air leaks within your house and calculate the infiltration rate of your house.
• AEA then provides you a recommendation report of potential opportunities for improving building performance.
• This is good for targeting a set of specific issues such as comfort, moisture or unusually high bills.
• List Price = $100 per on site hour

• Blower Door Testing plus computer modeling of your house using the combination of OptiMiser®, RemRate®, and other AEA's custom programs.
• Your AEA HERS® certified rater will depressurize your house and check for air leaks. Your rater will show you the air leaks within your house and calculate the infiltration rate of your house.
• Your professional will then take measurements of your house in order to calculate the structure's feet², volume, window areas, insulation levels, and any additional data needed for inputs into our programs.
• AEA's engineers then go to work to provide you a series of reports and detailed instructions, including a cost analysis report of proposed improvements with payback calculations for prioritizing potential improvements.
• Personalized emission and carbon foot print reduction reports are also included.
• List Price = $250 + (sq-ft X $.07)

Level 3 - The AEA Certified HERS® Rating of Home

• This is all Level 2 services plus Energy Star Certification and RESNET Certification.
• Level 3 includes thermal imagining camera analysis and reporting for your home.
• You will get also get a certified HERS rating, an Energy Star Certificate, and a custom Energy Star Label for your home which attaches to your electrical panel.
• This rating is required for Energy Efficient Mortgages (EEMs) and Energy Improvement Mortgages (EIMs).
• For new construction contact AEA for pricing (Confirming for the $2,000 Builder Tax Credit or the new proposed $5,000 Builder Credit).
• List Price varies depending upon incentive program requirements.

Infrared Camera Analysis – Infrared camera will assist in detecting air leaks, but will also identify areas of missing insulation in the wall and ceiling cavities, as well as potential moisture problems.

Duct Blaster – Duct Blaster will detect and quantify air leaks in the duct system.  This is used in any level 2 or 3 Service where ducting is outside of the conditioned area.
